Inviting people to meals are one of the traditional practices that declare your hospitality. Your table manner and approach will also speak so much about you. That includes your discipline and your ability in handling and satisfying your guests. That is why this is a very important event that used for special occasions such as client meetings and dates.

That is why, most of the time, it was used for business affiliations. No certain client would love to be held responsible. Also, when getting your wine, do not make a fuss and just put your finger in the price range that you would like. Your waiter will surely know what to do.

Remember your values. There are a lot of table etiquette. That includes the arrangement of table wares and wine glasses. However, you need not worry about it especially if you are doing it at the restaurant. The staff will surely do it on your behalf. Just never forget that your fork is only for picking. You should hold both fork and knife at the same time. After eating, you should put your napkin on the left side. Do not refold it but just placed it neatly.

Treat the waiter nicely. When calling them, making an eye contact is enough. However, if you failed to get their attention, raising your right index finger will do the trick.

Both of you are aware for the reason of the invitation. However, avoid bringing up the topic before the meal is done. Doing it in the middle of eating is rude.
