Snorkeling is one of the most fun loving and the adventurous sport that you are ever going to do. Everyone loves snorkeling and it is considered to be one of the favourite sports. Also, you can make your snorkeling experience more amazing by going for the night snorkeling options. It can be very exciting at night when you dive under water.

However for the beginners, they face problems to breathe underwater through the tube, but that's not a thing to worry as one can quickly adapt to the new environment. You can become an expert of snorkeling just after giving few tries. With the advancements in technology, nowadays different types of snorkeling gears available in the market also at cheap cost.

Just at the time of sunset or probably at dusk, you will be able to see the water life that is hardly visible to you during the day. You definitely get a different experience compared to what you see during the day. The coral reefs below become alive and you get to see the beauty of the fauna in the water body. You will be able to find lot of aquatic animals that are rarely visible at night. Animals like lobsters and shrimps can be seen also the coral polyps that open up at night, gives the water body a colourful look. You can also see the glowing planktons which flash similar to lights if disturbed. It's a lovely experience.

It is better if you test your snorkeling skills before you go in the water. Always make sure you place your head in the water and the snorkel tube is just at the surface of the water. If you find some water has entered the tube then don't inhale but try to exhale out. You must try to hold your breath if you find water is entering in your tube.

Snorkeling at night is very different compared to day, as you need to be more careful, need more equipment and also make proper planning. Flashlight being the most important equipment, as it will only allow you look at the beauty of the water body and also let the individuals around you know about your locations at night.

The snorkels those are equipped with caps that close as soon as the snorkel is immersed in the water and open wide when brought back to air, such valves are called the dry purge valves. The dry valve becomes the most advanced piece of snorkels that can be found. The purge snorkels are often used by the professional scuba divers, however even the beginners can easily use them too.
